Energy Monitor DIN Mount with External CTs

The Energy Monitor can be used to monitor the energy consumption of up to three electrical circuits, such as the mains, geyser and stove. Based on these measurements, the real (Watt) and apparent (VA) power is calculated. The power factor (PF) and watt hour (Wh) used is also calculated.This information is available via the USB port and over a RF transceiver. When used with the NSB Electronics RF to USB Master Unit (NSB011), data can be received, viewed and analysed on a remote computer or server. 

A relay output is provided which can be used to switch a circuit on or off, for instance when in peak usage time, the geyser can be switched off to help lower the peak requirements.

The Energy Monitor is based on the design by OpenEnergyMonitor. It uses similar method to measure the voltage and current and uses a subset of their open source library for the calculations. The optional RF communications is based on the great work of LowPowerLabs using their library for the transceiver.
